speed laces?
These Altama's #6852 or 19120 has been quite comfortable and seem to wear quite well, These are far from my first pair, I have been wearing Altama's since my first issue in 1969. I'am not sure what the problem is with them, the laces keep cutting into after a half day of use, I have tried every lace made. so now I have had to resort to plastic zip ties, that make it impossible to wear on the job. I will never again purchase an import from Altama just to save a dollar. BUY USA

Breat Boots
These are so far the best boots I have worn. They broke in fast, and are very comfortable. I wear these most of the day, and my feet do not feel sore and I don't get blisters as often as previous boots I have worn. Currently, I have in excess of a foot of snow and my feet stay dry, even with the vents in the side. The only problems I have with them are that they do not have great traction on smooth and solid ice and they are not steel toe.

Best boots I ever had
The jungle boots are coming right after my boots from the German Foces. Good to wear in every weather condition (heat / cold). I got 3 pairs, the first one unfortunately got burned, the 2. pair I almost wear every day since more than 4 years now. The boots survived Iran, Qatar, Bahrain , UAE, etc and are still in a good shape. Never had any problems with my feet even after crossing rivers , during marches, in workshops, etc.
Very good price for a very good quality!

Painful to say the least
I purchased these boots to use during State Guard duties and subsequently had my feet turned into hamburger meat. The stitched area where leather meets nylon in the heel cuts into the foot causing painful blisters and when I laced them to properly support my ankles, the laces would cut into the tops of my feet. Not fun to wear and march in and they actually made me limp horribly. I don't plan on wearing these ever again.

Great Boots
I got these boots a few weeks ago and love them. They are very comfortable and light for a combat/jungle boot. I'm on my feet a lot as a military instructor and have no problems with foot pain from these boots. I broke them in after about a half a day and the break in was not bad. They run a little big so go down a half size to a full size from what you normally wear. Overall these are great boots.
